It Wasn't Me

Our 2 year old Kyle and his elder brother Ryan will try to blame each other for practically anything. One saturday when Ryan was out with his dad (doing the shopping for me!) I heard a crash as I prepared lunch. I rushed into the living room and found the Mr Potatohead bucket on the floor with all the bits sprawled accross the floor. Very relieved that it was nothing of concern I asked Kyle what had happened. I wasnt even telling him off but he pulled a guilty face, started looking around looking for his brother and when he remembered he was out, paused, pointed and said, "Sam."
He was blaming the dog!
Hide and Seek

I used to play hide and seek with Molly when she was two and by the time I had counted to 8 I could still hear her standing beside me. So I would drag out the “niiiiiiiiine” and pause before 10. But instead of hiding she would shout “TEN”.
When I looked at her standing beside me she would hold her hand to her mouth like I was on the other side of a road and shout “HERE”!
